What Do I Do?
As a longarm quilter, I take the customer’s pieced quilt top, add a middle batting layer and the customer’s backing fabric. After loading the three layers on my Handy Quilter Infinity 26” longarm quilting machine, I stitch the quilt “sandwich” together, using a digitized quilting stitch pattern that the customer has chosen. Once the quilt “sandwich is stitched together, the customer adds the binding to athe edges, and the quilt is done!
Do you make the quilt?

No. The customer makes the pieced quilt top and provides the quilt backing fabric.
Can the customer pick out the digitized quilting (stitching) pattern to be used?
Yes. I have hundreds of digitized quilt stitching patterns that can be used. I will work with the customer to select what they want to be used on their quilt
What if you don’t have a particular pattern that the customer wants …
I will research different websites to find quilt stitching patterns that the customer may desire.. After showing the customer the different patterns available, the customer chooses the one they like best. I purchase the digitized quilting stitching pattern and split the cost of obtaining it (usually under $20.00) with the customer. The pattern then becomes mine to keep and use.
What kinds of batting do you use?
I have Hobbs 80/ 20 % cotton / polyester batting, 100 % cotton batting, and wool batting available to use.
Can the customer pick the threads) used in the quilt
Yes. I have a variety of longarm threads in various colors and variations available the customer can choose from.
I will work with you to create a design plan that will compliment your quilt and fit your budget.
I’ve been longarm quilting for friends, family, and for charity for the past thirty years. I love the process of designing the quilt stitching pattern to suit the pieced quilt.

If you'd like to talk with me about finishing your quilt, or you have a quilt you'd like to schedule, call, text, or contact me via email. Design consultation, pick up, and drop off services are offered by appointment only. My entire studio/home is a strict non-smoking zone. I am also pleased to offer curbside drop-off/pick-up services and will gladly accept mail order quilts.
Your quilt will be quilted on a HandiQuilter 26” Infinity machine using high quality, high performance, professional-grade thread by Superior, (King Tut, Omni, MicroQuilter, Bottom Line); Signature, Wonderfil, and Invisifil.
